Trajan’s Market, Rome

Trajan’s Market is a large complex of shops and administrative offices of Roman Emperor Trajan. The entrance to the site is near the Colosseum on Via Quattro Novembre.

Most of the sites within the complex is sheltered from the sun. So this could be a good place the escape the afternoon heat of Rome while seeing the marvels of ancient Roman engineering.
